Mock interview online: practise before the real one
A mock interview is a practice run under real conditions. It shows where you stumble while there is still time to fix it.
Mock interview online
- Why practise out loud
- Knowing an answer and saying it clearly under pressure are different skills. Speaking it reveals gaps reading never does.
- Practise the follow-ups
- Real interviewers push on your answer. Good mock interviews ask a second, harder question after your first answer.
- Time yourself
- Aim for one to two minutes per answer. Rambling is the most common problem a mock interview exposes.
- Review and repeat
- Note where you hesitated or went vague, rework those answers and run the mock again.
- Mock the technical round too
- For technical roles, practise solving and explaining a problem aloud, not just the HR questions.
- How Ambo runs it
- Ambo interviews you by voice from your own resume, asks live follow-ups on what you say and scores both content and communication.

Questions, answered.
How many mock interviews should I do?
Two or three focused runs, fixing weak answers in between, usually make a clear difference.
Is an AI mock interview useful?
Yes, when it asks questions from your own resume and follows up on your answers, the way a real interviewer would.
How is this different from a list of interview questions?
A list is the same for everyone. Ambo builds your course from your resume, your target role and where you're interviewing, then writes every lesson from the interviewer's point of view: what they'll ask, a strong answer, and the follow-up they'll use to test you.
What is the certification test?
Three camera-proctored rounds that unlock one after another: an objective round, a hands-on round (coding or practical tasks for your role) and a voice interview with Ambo, who asks live follow-ups on your answers. Pass all three within 14 days to become TickBig Certified for 12 months.
