2. The Agent Ambo Chrome extension (Smart Apply and Email Apply)
The Agent Ambo Find a Job Chrome extension (the "extension") applies to jobs for you from your own computer. It has two features: Smart Apply, which applies on job platforms such as LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, Hirist and Shine, and Email Apply, which emails your application to hiring contacts. This section explains exactly what the extension collects, how it uses that data, where it stores it and who it shares it with. It applies in addition to the rest of this policy.
2.1 What the extension collects
- Your TickBig account details that the extension needs to work for you, fetched from your TickBig account after you sign in: your name, the job searches you set up with Ambo (role, location and preferences), the text of your resume, a link to your resume file, and your plan and application counts.
- Job-platform sessions (Smart Apply). The extension uses the login session you already have on supported job platforms to fill in and submit applications in your browser. Where a platform needs it, the extension reads that platform's session cookie to keep you signed in during the apply run. It does not ask for, read or store your job-platform passwords.
- Application form questions (Smart Apply). When a job application asks screening questions (for example years of experience or notice period), the extension reads those questions from the form so it can answer them.
- Jobs applied to (Smart Apply). For each application it submits, the extension records the job details shown on the platform, such as the job title, company, location, job platform and link to the job, and the date of the application.
- Hiring contact details (Email Apply). To find who is hiring for the roles you chose, the extension looks at publicly posted hiring information: company career and HR pages it finds through Google search, and LinkedIn posts in which people announce they are hiring, which it can see because you are signed in to LinkedIn. From these it collects the hiring contact's email address and, where shown, the company, the role and the link to the post or page. To do this it opens and reads only those search results, career pages and posts.
- Google account access (Email Apply). When you connect your Google account through Google's sign-in, the extension asks for only two permissions: to send email from your Gmail account (
gmail.send) and to see your Google account email address (userinfo.email), so it can show you which account the emails go from. It cannot read, search or delete your inbox. - Email Apply counts. The number of application emails sent for each job search.
- Feedback and error reports. Ratings, comments and outcomes you choose to tell us (such as whether you got an interview call or a job), and error reports: the extension version, the page address where an error happened, the error message and technical details, your browser information and your IP address.
The extension does not collect your browsing history, the contents of your job-platform accounts or inbox, or information from websites other than those needed to apply for the jobs you chose.
2.2 How the extension uses this data
- To apply for the jobs you chose on supported job platforms, including answering application questions from your resume and job preferences (Smart Apply).
- To build your combined Smart Apply report in your TickBig account, showing every job applied to across all job platforms, with daily and total counts.
- To email your application, with your resume attached, to the hiring contacts it found for those jobs, from your own Gmail account (Email Apply). You choose the roles and write or approve the message before sending.
- To avoid applying or emailing twice for the same job or contact, and to count usage against your plan's daily limits.
- To fix errors and improve the extension.
We do not use extension data, including any data received from Google, for advertising, to build profiles for sale, or for any purpose unrelated to applying for jobs on your behalf. No person at TickBig reads your Gmail messages.
2.3 Where the extension stores data
- On TickBig's servers: your Smart Apply history (the jobs applied to, as described in 2.1), so that we can show you one combined report across all job platforms; your Email Apply counts (the number of emails sent, not who they were sent to); and your feedback and error reports. This data is kept with your TickBig account under section 12.
- On your computer only: the hiring contacts Email Apply collects, the list of contacts already emailed, your Google sign-in token, and working data such as your resume text and job search details are kept in your browser's local extension storage (Chrome storage) on your own device. We do not upload or save hiring contacts or your Google sign-in token on TickBig's servers.
- Data stored in your browser stays there until you remove it. Uninstalling the extension, or clearing its data in Chrome, deletes it from your device.
2.4 Who the extension shares data with
- Employers and hiring contacts. Your application, answers, resume and message are sent to the job platform or to the hiring contact's email address, because that is what you asked the extension to do. Recipients handle them under their own privacy policies.
- Google. Emails are sent through your Gmail account using the Gmail API, so Google processes them under its own terms and privacy policy.
- AI providers, through TickBig's servers. To answer application form questions, Smart Apply sends the questions, the text of your resume and your job preferences to TickBig's servers, which pass them to an AI model provider and return the suggested answers. We currently use OpenAI; we may use other AI providers in the future. We do not store these questions or answers on our servers; they pass through only for the moment the request takes. Any AI provider we use processes this data only as our service provider, under a contract that does not allow it to use the data to train its models or for any other purpose.
- TickBig's other service providers, such as cloud hosting, only for the data stored on our servers, as described in section 8.
We do not sell, rent or transfer extension data, including hiring contacts or Google data, to anyone else. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or information resellers.
2.5 Google user data (Limited Use)
TickBig's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, Google account access is used only to send the job applications you request and to show which account sends them. It is not used to serve advertisements, is not transferred to others except as needed to provide this feature, to comply with the law or as part of a merger or acquisition, and is not read by any person unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.
2.6 Your control
- You decide which roles to apply for, and you can stop the extension at any time.
- You can disconnect Gmail from inside the extension, or at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The extension can then no longer send email.
- You can delete the data stored in your browser by clearing the extension's data or uninstalling it.
- To delete your Smart Apply history, counts, feedback and error reports from our servers, email support@tickbig.com (see section 11).
2.7 Hiring contacts
Email Apply uses only contact details that people have published for hiring, and only to send an application for the role they posted about. If you are a recruiter or HR professional and do not want to receive applications sent through TickBig, reply to the applicant or write to support@tickbig.com. Because these contacts are kept on each user's own device and not on our servers, we hold no central list of them.
3. Information we collect automatically
Device and usage. Your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, device identifiers, pages and features you use, the date and time of your visits, how long you stay, referring pages and error logs.
Location. Approximate location from your IP address. If you allow it on a mobile device, your precise location, for example to show jobs or service requests near you. You can turn this off in your device settings. Some location-based features may then not work.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies, pixels and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure how the Service is used and measure our advertising. See section 10.
4. Information from other sources
Sign-in providers. If you sign in with a provider such as Google, we receive the information you allow that provider to share, such as your name, email address and profile picture.
Connected social accounts. If you connect Instagram, YouTube or another account for Find Clients, we receive the profile and statistics that platform allows us to access. You can disconnect at any time.
Other users. Employers, clients may share information about you in the course of a deal, such as feedback, reviews or offers.
TickBig's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Run Agent Ambo for you: find and apply to matching jobs, email HRs on your behalf, score and rebuild your resume, build your portfolio or brand page, shortlist candidates, match service requests with providers, generate your videos.
- Create your account, verify your identity and keep your account secure.
- Show your public content where you choose to publish it, such as your profile, portfolio, brand page.
- Process payments and keep financial records.
- Communicate with you about your account, applications, alerts, offers, bids, campaigns and support requests, by email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications or in-app messages.
- Personalise and improve the Service, including our matching, recommendations and AI features, and understand how features are used.

- Keep the Service safe: prevent fraud, spam, abuse and unlawful content, verify that posts are live, enforce our Terms and resolve disputes.
- Comply with the law, including tax, accounting and law-enforcement requirements.
6. How AI is used
Many Agent Ambo features use artificial intelligence to generate content and make matches, for example to rewrite resume lines, draft portfolios, write video scripts, create videos, apply to jobs or shortlist candidates.
- We send only the information a task needs to the AI systems that perform it. These may be our own systems or trusted AI service providers who process data on our behalf under contract.
- AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Please review what Ambo creates before you use it, especially resumes, applications and public pages.
- Automated matching helps decide which jobs Ambo applies to, which candidates are shown first, and which providers receive a service request. You can always review results and contact our support team if you think something is wrong.
7. Faces, voices and likeness (Ambo Studio)
Some Ambo Studio features, such as person swapping and "Your people", use photos of people's faces to put them into videos.
- Upload only photos and videos you have the right to use, and only faces of people who have agreed to it. If you upload a photo of someone else, you confirm you have their consent.
- We use these images only to create the videos you ask for. We do not use them to identify people or sell them to anyone.
- You can delete a saved person, an upload or a generated video at any time from Ambo Studio.
- We may remove content and suspend accounts that use someone's likeness without consent.
8. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as described below.
With the people you choose to work with. This is how Agent Ambo works:
- Job seekers: your resume, profile, portfolio and application details are shared with employers, recruiters and HRs, on job platforms where Ambo applies for you, and by email to HRs. Once shared, these parties handle your information under their own privacy policies.
- Hire Talent: recruiters see the profiles of candidates who match their role. Candidates' contact details are shared with recruiters for the purpose of that role only.
- Find Clients and Find Vendors: service requests (including the requester's contact details) are shared with matching service providers, and providers' profiles, bids and contact details are shared with the requester. Providers may contact requesters about their request.
Publicly, where you choose. Your public profile, portfolio, brand pages, reviews can be seen by anyone, including search engines.
With our service providers, who help us run the Service: cloud hosting and storage, payment processing, email, SMS and WhatsApp delivery, AI and video generation, customer support, analytics (such as Hotjar) and advertising measurement (such as Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API). They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
Within our group, with companies under common control with TickBig, under this policy.
For legal reasons, to comply with law, a court order or a government request, to protect the rights, property or safety of TickBig, our users or the public, or to investigate fraud or misuse.
In a business transfer, if TickBig is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation or sale of assets. The buyer will be bound by this policy.

In aggregate, statistics that do not identify you, for example to describe how many applications Ambo makes.
9. Where your information is stored
Your information is stored and processed in India. Your Smart Apply history is stored on our servers to show your combined report. Data that the Chrome extension keeps in your browser, such as Email Apply hiring contacts and your Google sign-in token, stays on your own device (section 2.3). Some of our service providers, for example AI, email or analytics providers, may process it in other countries. When that happens, we take steps to ensure your information remains protected, as permitted under Indian law.
10. Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use:
- Essential cookies to sign you in, keep your session secure and remember your settings.

We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as it's needed to provide the Service. After you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable time. Data the Chrome extension stores in your browser is kept until you clear it or uninstall the extension. We may keep some information for longer where we need to, for example to meet tax and accounting rules, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or enforce our Terms.
13. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. These include HTTPS encryption, access controls, keeping job-platform sessions and your Google sign-in token only in your browser, and asking Google only for permission to send email and see your account email address, never to read your inbox.
