How to choose the right transcription provider
Finding transcription usually means asking around, calling several people and comparing vague quotes. Here's a better way to brief, compare and choose.
Write a clear request
The clearer your request, the better the bids. Say what you need, where, when and your budget range. For example:
"Transcribe 10 hours of interviews"
"Podcast transcripts for SEO"
"Verbatim transcription of a court recording"
Checklist before you hire
Ask about accuracy guarantees
confirm confidentiality for sensitive audio
agree on format and timestamps
Compare bids on more than price
Look at past work on their Instagram and TickBig site.
Check what’s included in the quote, and what costs extra.
Ask about timelines, availability and who will actually do the work.
Get the final scope and price in writing before you pay.
Post once, let providers bid
With Find Vendors, you post your transcription requirement once. Matching providers are alerted, bid and chat with you, and you choose the best fit at the best price.
